 सड़क के उस पार

अपने घर की खिड़की से

मैंने देखा

वो सब जो तुम्हारे साथ हुआ

मैं बस देखता रहा

हाथ में बंदूक लिए

तुम्हें बचाने को नहीं

बल्कि खुद को बचाने को

और मैं कामियाब भी हुआ

अगर मुझसे कोई

पूछेगा कि वो कौन था

जिसने तुम्हारे साथ ये सब किया

तो मैं उन्हें बता सकता हूं

की वो मैं था।।
